Every day is laundry day in Hong Kong. And living in a tiny high-rise apartment is no deterrent to hanging laundry on a clothes line outside. Around the public housing estates, away from the prestigious office blocks of downtown, ordinary people show typical resourcefulness, constructing increasingly precarious clothes horses outside their sky-high apartment windows - whatever it takes to maximise one's living space in one the most densely-populated regions of the world.
